Roozbeh Maleki, born in Iran in 1989, is a photography graduate student from Tehran University of Art. In addition to photography, he has teaching experience in academic spaces, including Tehran University of Art. his diverse body of work defies clear categorization, encompassing subjects such as experimental lab setups and vast landscapes. However, a clear boundary can be considered for them: almost all of the photos are of stationary subjects and have references to the medium of photography itself. Therefore, the inclusion of text alongside his works plays a key role.

He has participated in the exhibitions “Repetition” (Emrooz Gallery, 2018), “ Small Image, Large Reflection” (AG Gallery, 2018), “Blind Windows: What does Mr. Soth exactly do?” (Solo, Silk Road Gallery, 2023), and “Didar” (Didar Gallery, 2023). Additionally, he is a founding member of the Publications Committee of Tavali, which focuses on producing theoretical books on visual arts and artist books, especially photobooks.
